I’m Caitlin, founder of Angharad Consulting.

I help organisations secure grant funding through strategy, training, and application support.

What makes my approach different is that I’ve worked on both sides of the funding process. I’ve written grant applications for organisations seeking funding, and I’ve also assessed applications for government and philanthropic funders. That experience means I understand how funding decisions are actually made and what separates strong proposals from the rest.

Today I work with startups, small businesses, and nonprofit organisations to:

• develop fundable projects

• prioritise the right grant opportunities

• strengthen major grant applications

• build internal grant capability through training

My career has taken me across the startup ecosystem, innovation hubs, and nonprofit organisations, including work in international grant administration and gender equity initiatives. Along the way I’ve worked with founders, community organisations, and mission-driven teams navigating complex funding environments.

I’m also a grant writing educator at the University of Sydney’s Centre for Continuing Education, where I teach practical grant writing skills to professionals and organisations across Australia.

Through Angharad Consulting, my goal is simple: help organisations pursue funding more strategically and develop stronger, more competitive grant applications.
